Mikayla Owens is the typical college student, going to parties, studying hard, and enjoying life. But, her life was turned upside down when the vampires "Came out of the coffin". From then on, vampires were a part of everyday life. Soon finding money harder to come by, she went job searching, but like so many others in this day and age could not find herself a job. In the traditional areas though... Desperate for employment, she put in an application to a vampire bar. Vampire bars were popping up all over town now, and had a reputation for the most dangerous, yet thrilling places to be. Surprisingly,Mikayla got the job, and went into the interview, meeting the owner- a very short, adolescent looking Scottish girl. Soon though ,she found that this adolescent was powerful and deadly. Now, she is a bartender, dancer, and "personal assistant".Poor Mikayla never expected this!
