I thought that it was going to be a parallel? The Martins are on the side of the vampires trying to get others to stop killing as they feed. Maybe the people/vampires in charge don't mind the killing as it keeps the population down or something, but ours want discretion and for the killing to stop, so that's why the revolution starts?

Now, I know that your character already has some history with vampires and all.. But.. Do you think that is a completely necessary aspect of the story? I mean, it is just one more thing to deal with. It will make Amy's political standing even more complex. In the present, she is high enough up politically to have her own Coven, and if she makes vampire enemies in th Revolution... It's just a lot to keep track of.

Plus, untill the Great Revelation (when vampires fully reveal themselves to human society) the Supernaturalis story is that vampires kept their existence reasonably secret.

Hmmm.. Well why would the Jacobin's be staying in the inn?
Unless... Robespierre was an "old flame" of hers, and he called in a favour, knowing that she was trustworthy? That could be a reasonable explanation xD

Ah.... No. He doesn't seem like the type she'd be with. But..hmm. I think the fact that she's supporting the Revolution, has rumoured "special" skills, and allows/helps Robespierre is enough. Oh, and with the "special skills". Everybody knows that she never gets in touble, or has any trouble with gaurds and such- because she can just glamour them. So, her inn is known as a safe haven.
